JSON-LD Metadata Templates

This page provides access to the current JSON-LD metadata templates being developed for FAIR and Science-on-Schema.org aligned dataset description.

Purpose: These templates are being refined to support a standardized and reusable metadata structure across multiple dataset modalities, including tabular, raster, and related geospatial data.

Review approach

The templates are being reviewed with attention to:

Schema.org and Science-on-Schema.org alignment
Clear separation of dataset-level and variable-level metadata
Consistency across raster, tabular, and future sensor datasets
Support for reusable metadata design and Gaia-related data modeling
